The Chairman of Augustus is Mr. Arthur J. Halleran, Jr., who was also the former Chairman and majority owner of First Winthrop Corporation, which at one time owned approximately 29 million square feet of commercial space and 55,000 apartment units across North America, including trophy assets in New York, Boston, Miami, Edgartown, and Nantucket.
Mr. Halleran earned his undergraduate degree from Villanova University with a B.A. in Sociology. At Villanova, he was President of The Blue Key Society, Executive Vice-President of The Student Government, Chairman of The Student Court and Vice-President of his fraternity. After college, Mr. Halleran attended Harvard University, Graduate School of Business Administration, graduating with an MBA. Over the years, he has been recognized as one of the most experienced sale and leaseback financing investors and an innovator in structuring accretive real estate solutions.
