Arthur J. Halleran, Jr.

Founder & Chairman

The Chairman of Augustus is Mr. Arthur J. Halleran, Jr., who was also the former Chairman and majority owner of First Winthrop Corporation, which at one time owned approximately 29 million square feet of commercial space and 55,000 apartment units across North America, including trophy assets in New York, Boston, Miami, Edgartown, and Nantucket.


Mr. Halleran earned his undergraduate degree from Villanova University with a B.A. in Sociology. At Villanova, he was President of The Blue Key Society, Executive Vice-President of The Student Government, Chairman of The Student Court and Vice-President of his fraternity. After college, Mr. Halleran attended Harvard University, Graduate School of Business Administration, graduating with an MBA. Over the years, he has been recognized as one of the most experienced Sale & Leaseback financing investors and an innovator in structuring accretive real estate solutions.

Jonathan Wexler

Senior Advisor, Acquisitions

Jonathan Wexler brings more than forty years of experience in structuring Sale & Leaseback financing transactions. In his role as Senior Advisor, he provides expert guidance on identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities. Previously, he served as Vice Chairman at First Winthrop Corporation. Jonathan holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Dylan Ascencios

Analyst, Acquisitions

Dylan Ascencios is part of the acquisitions team at Augustus Capital Corporation, where he partners with major corporations to structure financially accretive Sale & Leaseback transactions. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard University.

Kurt Porceng

Treasurer

Kurt Porceng serves as the Treasurer of Augustus Capital Corporation. With over 30 years of experience in financial planning, accounting, and corporate restructuring, Kurt holds a B.S. in Accounting from Le Moyne College. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). These credentials underscore his commitment to fiduciary standards and expert guidance in financial transactions.
